Marcus Bettinelli has officially replaced Scott Carson as Manchester City’s third-choice goalkeeper. Bettinelli caught Manchester City’s eye due to his experience as a third-choice goalkeeper in the Premier League and the fact that the 33-year-old is a homegrown player. The Englishman signed for Chelsea in 2021 but only made only one appearance for the Blues. Bettinelli will bring plenty of experience to this Manchester City side, having made 239 appearances throughout his club career.
